Congratulations to the cast and crew of Elf the Musical JR which has been nominated for the Best Youth Production at the 2016-17 Richmond Arts Swan Awards.
Elf the Musical JR was performed by the Dramacube Productions Twickenham and Hampton Hill cast in December last year, playing to full houses at the Hampton Hill Theatre. The show was extremely well received and was described as “A Christmas masterpiece” by reviewer Viola Selby. The full review can be found at Mark Aspen Reviews.
Dramacube Productions received a record seven nominations including Best Youth Production, Best Girl Actor Under 14 and Best Boy Actor Under 14.
Being nominated for Best Youth Production is an outstanding achievement for our young casts. The Swan judges watch around 50 productions each year and competition for Best Youth Production is extremely high with many older groups entering this category.
The Richmond Arts annual Swan Awards take place at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington on Sunday 10th September.
